Last week we let you know that Sasktel would be launching their 3G+ network today, and it looks like it has been a success thus far. Among the devices available are Nokia 7230, Nokia 6350, BlackBerry Bold 9700, and BlackBerry Pearl 9100. While they're still in talks to get the new iPhone 4, they will be launch the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant by the end of August. Contract pricing is comparable to that of other carriers, though outright pricing is a little bit high. You can pick up a BlackBerry Bold 9700 for $100 on a 3 year term, or the Pearl 9100 for as little as $50 on a contract. SIM cards are offered at $10/each, and they've even launched a Novatel mobile internet stick for $0 on a 3 year contract.

Sasktel has also reduced the contract-pricing of some of their CDMA smartphones, offering up the BlackBerry Storm at $0 on a 3 year term, or a Pearl for $0 on a 1 year term. There are other discounts as well, but remember that their newly introduced 3G+ network is much faster, and well worth the slightly increased device cost.
