telus and KOODO Mobile launching Android-powered INQ Cloud Touch soon

Those looking for an affordable Android handset, and who prefer telus or KOODO as their service provider are in luck, as both carriers will soon be offering the INQ Cloud Touch. telus has come forward officially on their website announcing that the device will soon be available, while leaked information and images point to a KOODO launch as well.

The INQ Cloud Touch features a 3.5" (320x480) touchscreen display, a 5MP camera , and will run on Android 2.2 Froyo at launch. It is powered by an 800Mhz processor and 512MB of RAM, making it just slightly more powerful than the HTC Wildfire S that Bell recently launched, based on specifications at least. Connectivity options for the Cloud Touch include Wi-Fi (b, g, and hotspot), in addition to bluetooth and GPS.

No definite word yet on when the INQ Cloud Touch will be available, but we should see it launch fairly soon. Pricing, while still unconfirmed by either carrier, will apparently be $200 outright, and $50 using the tab from KOODO, according to the leaked information.
