Videotron have added a new device to the small list of cellphone offer to Videotron customer, the Motorola ROKR U9. This old cellphone can be interesting for Videotron customers because all other cellphone are very very old and the Motorola ROKR U9 have mp3 function and is a nice basic cellphone. Nomade Telecom doesnt want continue with Wifi Wimax
Nomade telecom, about information of Argent magazine, want give up the wireless Wi-Fi/ WiMax project in Montreal. Nomade telecom think, at this moment, the Wi-Fi is not a good solution for a wide coverage of Montreal and the price of a spectrum is too high. It’s sure with cell phone network and new technologies like WiMax the Wi-Fi is not a good idea for provide internet to home. But for Nomade Telecom, they want revaluate the Wi-Fi part of this project. Cleary forget this project in Montréal.

YAK want to be the next national wireless carrier
Globalive Communication Corporation (division of YAK communication) have submitted today (the last day for submit application for Canadian wireless auction. YAK already offer telecommunication service to Canadian but not with own spectrum. The auction begging the 27 may 2008 and no date are no available for auction closing.
