A while back we let you know to expect Bell to launch the Motorola ES400 Enterprise Digital Assistant device, a CDMA handset running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional, and it's now officially been launched! The ES400 features a 3" (640x480) touch screen display, full QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2MP camera. This device is perfect for mobile professionals, and is capable of everything from taking signatures, to reading barcodes, making it a true enterprise digital assistant! Because it's targeted towards businesses, this unit is only available for contract-free purchases, and comes in at $649.95.

Rumour has it that Bell will be launching the Motorola ES400 EDA - an Enterprise Digital Assistant device. The handset will run on Bell's CDMA network, and operates on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional. The ES400 features a 3" (640x480) touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, and 3.2MP camera. With support for bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi, this handset is targeted towards the "Mobile Worker". The device even includes a biometric fingerprint reader, and is capable of reading barcodes, taking signatures, and much more. No word yet on an exact launch date or pricing, but we should see it available in the coming weeks.

Yesterday Rogers launched it's Extreme Text Messaging service, which allows users to set-up additional features to improve their text messaging experience. The new features include auto-reply, forwarding, distribution lists, and provides the ability to create and attach a signature to your messages. The feature will also allow you to block text messages from certain numbers, a much needed feature from Rogers.

The Extreme Text Messaging feature is available at no extra cost to all existing Rogers customers with plans that cover text messaging. To access the new feature, users have to access the My Account section of the Rogers Portal on their mobile device
