Rogers Wireless and Live Nation have announced the launch of the exclusive Wireless Box Office. It’s very simple, the customer buy the ticket on cell phone and the ticket are save in the cell phone, at the concert just show the ticket on your cell phone and it’s ok. For the launch, Rogers offer in exclusivity of the first ticket of the Simple Plan show.
Wireless Box Office is supported on all Rogers handsets with a WAP 2.0 Browser and MMS capability. Through Live Nation Member Ticketing, Rogers Wireless customers can easily browse and purchase preferred concert tickets:
1) Launch the phone's mobile Internet browser and select "Music & Tones"
2) Select "Wireless Box Office" and find a concert
3) Select the number of tickets, input credit card info and a wireless ticket will be delivered right to the phone as a text (SMS) and multimedia message
4) Simply show that ticket on the handset at the concert to get Rogers VIP treatment
