According to recently leaked information, Rogers will be releasing the LG Optimus L7 at some point in the future, likely within the next few months. Very few details are available about the device, but more information should find its way to the public soon enough. Currently, it?s known that the L7 will have a 4.3? display, a 5MP camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, and will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). According to LG?s reveal of the L7 a few weeks back, it?ll be powered by a 1 GHz processor, though some speculation around the internet assumes it?ll be dual-core. Beyond that, there aren?t any other confirmed specifications, but you can expect the obvious connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSPA, and A-GPS.

Additional rumours point to the Optimus L7 being launched within Rogers? Smartphone Lite category, though it seems unlikely at this point, particularly if it does have a dual-core processor, decent camera, etc. We?ll be sure to keep you updated on additional information as it becomes available, so check back to hear more about this new handset from LG.

Along with the network launch, Public Mobile has also opened two new retail stores in the area to serve customers, at 650 Plains Road, and 796 Brant Street. Coverage in the Burlington area "continues from Oakville (Burloak Drive) in the East extending to the border with Hamilton (intersection of Highway 403 and Highway 6). Coverage is available from the lake north to Mainway (East of Guelph Line) and to Highway 403 (West of Guelph Line)." According to recently leaked internal screenshots, Bell will be launching the BlackBerry Bold 9780 refresh device on November 2nd, though no official public announcement has been made as of yet. Virgin Mobile was apparently set to launch the device on October 21st, but since the website hasn't been updated as of yet, we're assuming the date has been pushed back at least a little bit. It would be surprising, however, if Virgin did launch the Bold refresh device a little bit sooner than parent-company Bell, as we saw this happen with the HTC Legend recently. To recap on the Bold 9780's specifications, it will launch running BlackBerry 6 OS, and comes with a 5MP camera, though nearly all other aspects are basically identical to the Bold 9700 BlackBerry users have come to know and love.
