Sasktel has made it evident for months that they intended on releasing the iPhone 4, but we finally have an official launch date! According to Sasktel's website, the iPhone 4 will be launching the Apple iPhone 4 next Tuesday, April 26th. The 16GB will come in at $159 on a 3 year term, or $649 outright, while the 32GB model can be purchased for $269 on a 3 year contract, and $749 contract-free.

Those purchasing the handset outright, be warned that it is still locked to Sasktel. If you aren't eligible for an upgrade or don't like the idea of contracts however, it's certainly a viable option. So who's buying an iPhone 4 from Sasktel?

The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi only version has been available from Future Shop and Best Buy for just over a week, but we've been waiting for news from Telus, who officially stated that they would be offering it as well. Finally, information has surfaced online providing a release date for the XOOM from Telus - Tuesday, April 19th.

The Motorola XOOM is a 10.1" Android-powered tablet that runs on Honeycomb 3.0. It features an 800x1280 display, 5MP camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video capture, and a secondary 2MP front-facing camera. The XOOM is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Wireless connectivity options include bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS, and the XOOM comes with an HDMI port for use with your big screen.

The Motorola XOOM should be available effective tomorrow from Telus for $599.99 contract-free.

When Videotron announced their 3G network a few months back, one of the biggest parts of the announcement for gadget and device lovers was that they would be carrying the Google Nexus One. Unfortunately the device was declared sold-out within just a few days of the launch, however Videotron has recently announced that it is back in stock! As of Tuesday of this week, Videotron's Nexus One stock has been replenished, and most retail outlets should have handsets available. The Nexus One is available from Videotron for $99.95 ("reduced price"), or $479.95 contract-free.

One of the most popular data plans ever made available in Canada - the $30/6GB promotion, has been extended by Rogers and Fido until October 5th. Originally this promotion was supposed to expire on September 30th, but as a result of the overwhelming success of the package, it has been extended. If you're a heavy data-user, make sure to get in touch with Rogers or Fido by Tuesday to take advantage of the offer, but remember, the plan does come with a new 3 year data contract.

According to internal documents floating around the internet, Bell will be released the Nokia C6 entry-level smartphone on Tuesday, September 21st. The C6 features 3.2" (360x640) touchscreen, horizontally sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a 5MP camera with LED flash. Running on Symbian Series 60 OS, this handset provides users to access to Nokia's Ovi store, where they can download mobile content like applications, games, etc. No official word on pricing as of yet, but we'll be sure to let you know once more information is released!

Telus has released documents internally stating that they will be launching the Nokia 3710 on Tuesday, June 15th. The Nokia 3710 is an HSPA flip phone, featuring a 2.2" (240x320) display, large-sized keypad, 3.2MP camera, bluetooth, and 70MB of internal memory - expandable up to 8GB via microSD. Though outright pricing is not available as of yet, the document lets on that pricing on a 3 year term will be somewhere around $49.99.

Problems were announced on the network of email for the famous Blackberry of Research In Motion. A major interruption was signed and Research In Motion does not know when the service is again operational. According to several American media, the network, more precisely the network of the American West and Canadian West, would have returned the heart during the night of Tuesday at Wednesday. The official ones of Microsoft declared in Engadget, that Windows Mobile will be available in first at T-Mobile. One does not know more information about this subject, but certain people wonders why T-Mobile and not another. Finally, after weeks of rumors, Windows Mobile 2005 will be announced at our French cousins next Tuesday. It would be based on Windows CE 5.1 and there were several improvements to software, therefore, Word, Excel, IE. Remains whether our dear manufacturers provide updates to our machines.
