Wind Mobile recently announced that they are working on expanding their network coverage in the coming year, but no further details were made available. Now, however, a newspaper article containing an interview with WIND Mobile CEO Ken Campbell, gives information on what may be in their future.

According to the article, WIND Mobile will be launching in Atlantic Canada, starting in 2012. Nova Scotia is first on the list it seems, and the company is in the planning stages including tower sites, store locations, and more. They also have "aggressive expansion plans for the remainder of 2011', hopefully in other major cities across the country.

TAXIGUY and Molson have teamed up to offer a new, free cab calling application that allows users to get connected with a local taxi company by pressing a single button. The application is available on iPhone, Blackberry, and Android handsets, or the service can be accessed from other handsets by dialing 1-888-TAXIGUY. The technology behind the application is simple, the application determines your location based on the cell phone tower you're connected to, and dials a local cab company based on that location - so no GPS is required.
