Acer recently announced that their newest Android-powered tablet will soon be available in Canada, stating that major electronics retailers would have it available for ?pre-sale?. Future Shop had the device listed online and available for pre-order, with an estimated release date of April 6th, 2012. Since then, Future Shop has removed the tablet from the website entirely, and it?s nowhere to be found on other electronics retailer?s websites.

The Iconia A510 comes in two colours ? silver and black. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The upcoming tablet is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 1 GB of RAM. It features a 10.1? (1280 x 800) touch screen display, and a 5 MP camera capable of 720p video capture, along with a secondary 1 MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

It has been a few weeks since WIND Mobile launched the Nokia C5-04, and now Videotron is stepping up to offer the device to their customers as well. The C5-04 has a 3.2" (640x360) touchscreen display, 2MP camera, and comes with pre-installed apps like Facebook, Youtube, Myspace, and Ovi Maps. The Nokia C5-04 is now officially available from Videotron for $39.95 "Reduced price", or $209.95 contract-free. It is available in two colours, so you can choose from silver or blue.

Both Bell and Virgin Mobile have both launched the BlackBerry Curve 3G, with the leaked prices proving accurate. Bell is offering it up at $49.95 on a 3 year term, or $349.95 contract-free, While Virgin has it priced at $49.99 on a 3 year contract, or $349.99 outright. The incentive to go with Virgin Mobile on this one is the colour selection, offering it up in either the standard silver/black colours, or with a shiny red finish. With Virgin, you also have the option of a standard 3 year term, or you can purchase it using their newly introduced SuperTab for as little as $49.99 as well.

KOODO recently announced that they would be offering the BlackBerry Curve 8530 in the near-future, and thanks to internal documents we have now have more details available. The 8530 is set to launch on May 25th, 2010 and will cost $300 outright, or $150 on the Tab.

The 8530 is the first BlackBerry handset to be offered by KOODO, and will be available in silver. The 8530 is a CDMA device, and features a 2.5" (320x240) display, 2MP camera, and optical trackpad for navigation. The handset also features Wi-Fi and A-GPS, and should make a nice addition to the KOODO line-up.

Telus updated their website today to include the BlackBerry Curve 8530 in pink, adding to their existing silver and red models.

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 features a 2.5" (320x240) display, full QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad, and 2MP camera. It runs on the CDMA network, and supports Wi-Fi as well as bluetooth. The BlackBerry Curve 8530 in pink is available now through Telus starting at $49.99 on a 3 year term.

Telus will also add the Nokia E71 in Black and Red. This device is already offers with Rogers but not in Black and Red, so it?s exclusivity with Telus. The Nokia E71 includes a QWERTY keyboard and video messaging. The Nokia E71 is a very slim Smartphone and it?s a return for Nokia with Telus.

Bell Mobility have announced the new Samsung Vice 3G, they are the first to launch this device in the world. The Samsung Vice 3G is a mix of Rogers Samsung Propel and the Rogers Samsung Gravity. This cellphone include obviously a QWERTY keyboard, a Bluetooth connection and include a ?Bell?s distinctive user interface with one-click access to social networking sites?.To celebrate the launch, the first 20,000 purchasers of the Samsung VICE will receive their choice of 1 of 50 free decals designed for personalizing the handset, enabling users to truly make it their own. Sony Ericsson Canada has put the Z780a on their Canadian web site with little stars for Coming Soon. No date, no information about operator but many source say its Rogers will offer this device but no confirmation at this moment. It?s a very nice cell phone with a HSDPA connection, Bluetooth connection and are compatible with Active Sync for easy synchronisation with Microsoft Exchange. It?s seen to be in to color, Amethyst Silver or Grand Onyx. The Sony Ericsson Z780a has a 2.0 mega pixels camera.

Videotron announced this week that the Motorola KRZR K1 would now be offered to its customers. It is still surprising to see a device Videotron offer the same quality, but the Virgin Mobile offers its subscribers the past few weeks. It obviously includes a digital camera of 1.3 mega pixels in addition to a Bluetooth connection. It is only available in silver color for a price of 129.95 with a 3-year contract at Videotron or 360.95 without subscription.
