We let you know a while back that Videotron would be launching the HTC Glacier/Panache, while Mobilicity has launched it exclusively in their service areas. A few days ago, the HTC Panache was listed twice on HTC's Canadian website, once as the Mobilicity version, and a second time showing Videotron. Unfortunately since then, the Videotron Panache was removed.

With the rumours of this device coming to Videotron keeping steady online, it's likely that someone jumped the gun and put this up on the site early. Hopefully we'll see it launch very soon, and speculated pricing sits in the $500-550 range.

We just let you know that Mobilicity was getting set to launch the HTC Panache, which is known otherwise as the HTC Glacier/myTouch 4G. An Android Gingerbread ROM was recently leaked that was filled with Videotron-related items, even having the popular Quebec carrier in the file name, indicating a near-future launch from them as well. No word yet on exactly when the Glacier will be released, or at what price, but we'll be sure to keep you updated. It's definitely great to see smaller carriers launching high-end Android devices. Keep them coming, Videotron! The HTC Glacier features Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.8" (480x800) display, and is pwoered by a 1GHz processor and 768MB of RAM. It comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p recording capabilities, and supports bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.

A few months ago, information was leaked pointing a new Android-powered device launching on Mobilicity. The HTC Panache, which was formerly known as the "Emerald" internally, is now officially set to "Coming Soon". It is essentially the my Touch 4G/HTC Glacier currently found in the U.S., and comes with a range of impressive features including Gingerbread 2.3. The Panache has a 3.8" (480x800) touchscreen display, 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, and comes with 4GB of internal storage. This new addition to Mobilicitys line-up is powered by a 1GHz processor and 768MB of RAM, and comes with standard connectivity options including Wi-Fi (with hotspot), GPS, and bluetooth.

No word yet on an exact launch date, but we're expecting it sometime next week. As for pricing, rumours online are still pointing to the $500 mark, which is a pretty standard price for a handset like this one. If you're interested in picking up this handset, Mobilicity retail stores are currently taking pre-orders, so visit your nearest one!

Coming with 4GB of internal storage and 768MB of RAM, the Emerald will surely make a great addition to Mobilicity's ever-growing Android line-up.

No word on price points for the HTC Emerald, but we'll keep everybody informed of any further information. Mobilicity is really shaping up to be a great carrier for those who live in one of their zones, what do you think?
