Unfortunately other features come in a bit on the low end, with a 1.3MP camera, and connectivity options including Wi-Fi (b/g/n), bluetooth, and some form of GPS support.

There are also a variety of accessories available along with it, including a wireless keyboard ($59.99), a charging dock ($79.99), and a few different cases/sleeves.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an impressive Android tablet, and having recently launched in the United States, Canadians were left wondering when we may see it available. Luckily, Samsung Canada quickly updated their site to include the Tab 10.1, marking it as "Coming Soon!"

Furthermore, information was recently leaked online stating that the Wi-Fi only version will be available sometime in July, while the 3G version will follow close behind, expected to launch sometime in August. Other great news regarding the 3G version - Rogers, Bell, and Telus will all be carrying the Honeycomb tablet!

To recap on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's features and specs, it has a 10.1" (800x1280) touchscreen display, and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It features a 8MP camera with LED flash, that is capable of recording full 720p HD video. it also has a 2MP front-facing camera, comes with TV-out functionality, and will offer 16GB of storage. The Tab 10.1 is only 8.6mm thick and weighs in under 600 g, making it super thin and light considering it's full 10" screen.

A variety of accessories will also be available at launch, including a keyboard dock, a bluetooth keyboard, and at least a few different cases. No word yet on pricing for the tablet itself, or the accessories that will launch along with it, but we'll be sure to keep you updated.

RIM have been slowly rolling out BlackBerry OS 6 to some of the more recent devices they offer, with each individual carrier packaging and releasing the updates themselves. Now, WIND Mobile customers who own either a Bold 9700 or Curve 9300 are in luck, as the quickly growing carrier has officially released the upgrade. For those who own a Pearl 9100, WIND has stated that the new OS "will be available in coming weeks". The update is available now, and can be downloaded/installed using the latest version of Desktop Manager.

There have been a number of rumours surfacing online regarding RIM developing a tablet device, including everything from screen size (7", 8.9"), to piggy backing for cellular data connectivity. According to the latest rumour, Research In Motion will unveil the new device next week at DevCon 2010 in the U.S., announcing features, specifications, and hopefully a release date. So far, the general consensus seems to be that the device will have a 7" touch screen, along with bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, though it will rely on the user's BlackBerry device for cellular data use. Names that have been tossed around for the rumoured device include "BlackPad" and "SurfBook", but pre-release model names often change upon launch, as should be the case with this one.

Probably the most discussed rumour is that the device won't be running an existing BlackBerry OS, but rather something entirely new and developed with help from QNX, a major OS maker that has experience in everything from vehicle software, to Nuclear Reactors. If RIM does launch a tablet powered by QNX software, we can be assured that it will not-only be stable and reliable, but more than likely a smooth and consistent experience as well.

Do you think RIM will announce their tablet next week? We'll be keeping up with live coverage, so stayed tuned for more details next week!
