Telus has recently introduced a sale, discounting 3 of their most popular handsets until May 8th. The Samsung Nexus S has been reduced to $99.99 on a 3 year term, while Fascinate (3G version) has been made free, also with a 3 year contract. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 has seen a price drop as well for the duration of this sale, coming in at $79.99 with a contract. Unfortunately outright costs haven't been changed, but it's still great to see sales of any kind.

Sasktel has recently introduced the red variation of the BlackBerry Torch 9800, a nice colour arriving just in time for the holidays. The red version comes in at the same price as the standard black version, which is $180 on a 3 year term, or $665 contract-free. The Torch is possibly RIM's most popular device right now, featuring an impressively responsive touchscreen, slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, and BlackBerry OS 6 featuring a new UI and WebKit browser.

Right on time, Bell and Virgin Mobile have launched the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in red. The red version has the same specs as the black and white versions, but is a nice alternative for those who like red. Pricing is the same as the black version with the carriers, with Bell offering it for $179.95 on a 3 year term, and $599.95 outright, while Virgin Mobile has it listed at $179.99 with a 3 year contract, and $599.99 contract-free. So now Canadians can choose between standard black, white, or red when purchasing a Torch 9800. Which do you prefer?

We recently let you know you could expect the BlackBerry Torch 9800 to arrive in white at Rogers, and today they've gone ahead and launched it! The white version comes in at the same price of $229.99 on a 3 year term, but makes a great addition to Rogers BlackBerry line-up. We should see the Bold 9780 launch in white soon too, so stay tuned for more news!

Rogers typically gets the exclusives on white BlackBerry models in Canada, but as of recently we've seen Virgin Mobile and Bell offer up some white versions. Rogers hasn't stopped with the white models, however, and recently white dummy units of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Bold 9780 began arriving in stores. While no definite information is available regarding pricing or launch date, pricing should come in as the same as the standard black versions, and these versions should launch fairly soon. What do you think about the white versions of the Torch and Bold 9780? Let us know in the forums!

Thanks to an internal document leaked online, we have a bit of information regarding two Bell BlackBerry launches - the red version of the Torch 9800, and the upcoming BlackBerry Style 9670. The Torch 9800 in red has all of the same features and specifications as the standard black version, but comes with red housing, and will be launched on November 23rd according to the doc.

Bell will also be launching the BlackBerry Style on this date, which is RIM's new full QWERTY flip phone. The Style 9670 is a CDMA device that features a 360 x 400 display, full QWERTY keyboard, and comes in a clamshell flip phone form factor. The Style runs BlackBerry OS 6 at launch, and has a 5MP camera, along with Wi-Fi (b, g, n), bluetooth, and GPS connectivity options.

The Torch 9800 in red will be available for the same 3-year price as the black version, which on Bell is currently $179.95. The Style 9670 will apparently be available for $399.95 contract-free, though term pricing hasn't been found as of yet. If you're looking for either of these devices, be sure to check up on Bell on November 23rd, or stay tuned to MobileInCanada for all of the latest news.

Bell and Virgin Mobile were originally supposed to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9780 on October 21st, which was then pushed back to November 2nd. Now, for unknown reasons, the launch has been delayed once again, though no updated launch date has been made available as of yet. Speculation is pointing at last minute OS updates being the cause of the delay, much like we saw with the Torch 9800, though this hasn't been confirmed. Hopefully we'll see the device launch soon, and many think it should be ready and shipping by next week.

Rogers has officially launched their Navigator application for the BlackBerry Torch 9800, which they've been pushing on BlackBerry users for some time now. The application is free to download via BlackBerry App World, however it requires a $4.99/month subscription to use. Luckily, users are able to unsubscribe directly from the application at any time, so if it doesn't seem worth it, it won't be much of a hassle to avoid the charge on your next months bill. The application, which is based on Telenav, offers users voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, 2D and 3D maps, in addition to real time traffic information, and more.

More rumours are making their way around the internet, this time around regarding the BlackBerry Bold refresh device - the 9780. The Bold 9780 is almost identical to the 9700 model, but offers up a few internal improvements(memory) that will help it handle the newly released BlackBerry 6 operating system, along with an improved 5MP camera. Apparently the device will be launching on October 21st for $149 on Virgin's SuperTab or on a 3 year contract, though as always, this information can't be guaranteed until officially announced by the carrier.

BlackBerry users, will you picking up a Bold 9780, or have you made the jump to the Torch 9800 already?
