Mobilicity has officially launched the Nokia Lumia 710, an affordable Windows Phone handset running OS 7.5 Mango. It features a 3.7? (480 x 800) touch screen display, and a 5.0 MP Camera with autofocus and LED flash and 720p video capture. It's powered by a 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor and 512 MB of RAM, and comes with 8 GB of internal storage. The Lumia 710 also offers access to social networks via full integration with Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin with People Hub.

Thanks to internal documentation leaked online, we now know that Videotron intends to launch the Nokia Lumia 710 sometime in the coming weeks. Currently Rogers, WIND Mobile, and Mobilicity offer the affordable Windows Phone handset, and it ranges from $230 to $260 outright through these carriers.

The Lumia 710 features a 3.7? (480 x 800) touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass, and comes with a 5 MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video capture. The handset comes with 8 GB of internal storage, and is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. Connectivity options are standard, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

WIND Mobile is getting set to launch a new entry-level Android handset, the Huawei Astro. The device, which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, features a 3.5? (320 x 480) touch screen display, and a 3.2 MP camera. As for pricing, speculation floating around online points to roughly $150 or so. If you?re in one of WIND?s zones and are looking for an affordable Android handset, keep an eye out come April 26th for the Huawei Astro. If Windows Phone is more your style, remember that WIND is also launching the Nokia Lumia 710 soon.

It looks likes WIND Mobile is preparing to launch the Nokia Lumia 710, updating their site to include the Windows Phone Mango device as ?coming soon?. The Lumia 710 features a 3.7? As for pricing, details are currently unavailable. Rogers, however, currently offers the Nokia handset for $229.99 outright or $29.99 on a 3 year term.

KOODO Mobile has put their entire device line-up on sale just in time for the back-to-school season, with discounts ranging from $25-$50 depending on the device. The INQ Chat 3G is down $150, the BlackBerry Curve 8530 is now at $250, and the Samsung Intensity is discounted to $100. We've been keeping you updated on KOODO's effort to launch their HSPA network, and the day has finally arrived. Starting today, Canadians can start using the new network, with the first officially available device being the Nokia 3710, available for $175 outright, or $25 on the tab. The 3710 features a large sized keypad, 2.2" (240x320) display, bluetooth, and memory expansion up to 8GB via microSD, along with a 3.2MP camera. No official word yet on when more HSPA devices are set to launch, but we'll keep you updated.

Along with the Nokia 3710, internal screenshots indicate a second HSPA device coming to KOODO Mobile in the near-future. Expected to be available at the time of their HSPA network launch, the Samsung T356 is a messaging device featuring a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and 1.3MP camera, though further details still haven't been confirmed. KOODO's HSPA network is set to go live sometime around the end of the month, so expect this new device around the same time.

Recently, we let you know that KOODO Mobile was set to launch their HSPA network sometime around June 15th, which is now seeing a delay of about two weeks. Along with the HSPA network, KOODO will be launching the Nokia 3710 as one of their first HSPA handsets, with pricing speculated to be around $175 contract-free, or as little as $25 on the tab. No word on why the delay has occurred, but we can't see KOODO pushing off this network launch for much longer.

Yesterday we reported that Telus would be launching the Nokia 3710 on their HSPA network on June 15th, however they have pushed ahead the release date considerably, making the handset available now. The Nokia 3710 is a flip phone featuring a 2.2" display, 3.2MP camera, A-GPS, and expandable memory up to 8GB. The Nokia 3710 is available now for $49.99 on a 3 year contract, or $179.99 outright.

KOODO Mobile is also expected to launch the Nokia 3710, with current expectations set at a mid-month release coinciding with their HSPA network rollout.
