For Canadian users who have been waiting for a slim yet high-powered Android device, the wait is over and there are various avenues to choose from. Bell, Telus, Fido, and Virgin Mobile have all launched the HTC One S, an Android handset running on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The HTC One S features Sense 4.0, Beats Audio, and has a 4.3" (540 x 960) super AMOLED touch screen display. It comes with an 8 MP camera with autofocus and LED Flash, along with 1080p HD video capture with stereo sound recording and video stabilization. It's powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and 1 GB of RAM, and comes with 16 GB of internal storage. As a bonus, you can get 25 GB of free DropBox storage whether you purchase the phone outright or on a term.

Pricing comes in slightly varied, with Bell offering it up for $99.95 on a 3 year term, or $599.95 no-term. Virgin Mobile has it listed practically the same, at $99.99 on a 3 year term or SuperTab, and $599.99 on a monthly plan. Telus is offering up the One S for $99.99 on a 3 year term as well, but give us a break in price at $569.99 no-term. Lastly, Fido has it priced at $150 on a 3 year agreement, but a low $550 outright.

If the HTC One S sounds like it may be your next Android handset, head to Bell, Telus, Virgin Mobile, or Fido to get yours!

We let you know a while back that Videotron would be launching the HTC Glacier/Panache, while Mobilicity has launched it exclusively in their service areas. A few days ago, the HTC Panache was listed twice on HTC's Canadian website, once as the Mobilicity version, and a second time showing Videotron. Unfortunately since then, the Videotron Panache was removed.

With the rumours of this device coming to Videotron keeping steady online, it's likely that someone jumped the gun and put this up on the site early. Hopefully we'll see it launch very soon, and speculated pricing sits in the $500-550 range.

Virgin Mobile has recently added a few of their post-paid devices to their Prepaid line-up, including the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, Curve 3G, and the Samsung Galaxy 550. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G and Curve 3G are each available for $299.99 with a Prepaid activation, while the Galaxy 550 comes in at just $179.99.

The BlackBerry Curve 3G is available in both colours, red and black. While $299.99 isn't too expensive for this handset, remember, KOODO Mobile is offering it up for $250 contract-free.

Sasktel has been making the news quite a bit since they launched their 3G network several months back, and they aren't showing any signs of slowing down. According to several statements made by the Saskatchewan carrier, they will soon be launching 3 new devices - the HTC Incredible S, the iPhone 4, and the Samsung Galaxy 550.

The HTC Incredible S, which is expected to launch "sometime in April" features a 4" (480x800) touchscreen display, 8MP camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video capture, along with a secondary 1.3MP front-facing camera. Powered by a 1GHz processor and 768MB of RAM, the Incredible S comes with 1.1GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS, and the HTC Incredible S will run Android 2.2 Froyo at launch, along with HTC Sense UI 3.0. Virgin Mobile, and possibly Bell, are also expected to launch the Incredible S.

Next up is the Samsung Galaxy 550, which is also expected sometime in April. The Galaxy 550 runs on Android Eclair 2.1. Beyond that, there aren't many details available regarding this upcoming Android device, but it looks like it will be a mid-range handset. No word yet on pricing, but we'll be sure to keep an eye out for more details!

Lastly, comes the iPhone 4. Sasktel has put up a registration page for those interested in receiving updates regarding the launch of the popular device on Sasktel. The release date is still unknown, but it's definitely a good sign that they have implemented a registration page. Hopefully we'll see the iPhone 4 launch before Apple's next generation of mobile device is announced, which will likely happen sometime this summer.

Overall, great job from Sasktel expanding their line-up to include several options for Saskatchewan residents!

4 months after its arrival at Telus, Bell finally gets their hand on RIM?s second try at a touchscreen handset, the Storm 9550. The launch date is scheduled to be on April 13th. No word on pricing yet, but we can anticipate something in the area of Telus? pricing. I must admit I was kind of skeptic about this device since my bad experience with the first version. But let me tell you, they aren?t even related! Most of the specs are the same, but we can see 3 huge improvements. The Surepress technology is way more responsive than its previous version. Another big issue with the 9530 was the lack of wifi, which is now included with the 9550. All of this combined with a brand new 5.0 OS, you should give it another try, it will surprise you.

Koodo Mobile add 2 new device to the small list of devices. These device are already offer (from few mouthn ago) at Telus. The Motorola VE465 and LG 5500 are 2 cheap device but with few good function. The price is high compare to cellphone from Virgin Mobile but it?s a good thing to have new device for Koodo customers.

Telus add another cheap device with no intersting function. The camera of 0.3 mega pixels is just ridiculous, but the Telus LG 5500 include a Bluetooth connection. No memory slot are present on this device, no Telus Mobile Radio, no Telus Mobile TV, nothing but with a big price. Telus sale the Telus LG 5500 for 29.99$ with a 3 years agreement or for 199.99$ without contract.
