Most Canadian banks have mobile applications available for multiple platforms, including Android, Apple's iOS, and BlackBerry, so its strange that RBC hadn't launched their own. Luckily, iPhone and BlackBerry users can now download and install the RBC application, that allows users to view account balances, transfer funds, pay bills, use Interac Money Transfers, and even locate RBC branches and ATMs. The application was first launched for iPhone users, and has now been made available to BlackBerry users as well. The BlackBerry version is available for the Bold 9700 and 9000, Curve 8900, 8530, and 8520, along with the Tour 9630. To get the application for iPhone, visit App Store, or to get it for BlackBerry, simply head to mobile.rbcroyalbank.com.

Rogers has officially launched the BlackBerry Curve 9300, with pricing of $79.99 on a 3 year term, or $399.99 outright. The 9300 is very similar to the 8520, but offers connectivity over Rogers' 3G network, providing faster data speeds. It features an optical trackpad for navigation, a 2.4" (320x240) display, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 3.15 MP camera. At roughly $80 on a 3 year term, we're suggesting you opt for the Bold 9700 at only $20 more. If you're looking to purchase the device contract-free, the new Curve 9300 might be a good choice, since it's outright pricing of $399 is the lowest of any current BlackBerry from Rogers, but beware, as of now it doesn't seem like this device is going to get RIM's upcoming OS, BlackBerry 6.
