KOODO Mobile has already included a variety of Android handsets in their line-up, but one design-type we don't see nearly enough anymore with smartphones are QWERTY handsets. The LG Optimus Chat, which according to screenshots leaked online will be the next Android device for KOODO, has a horizontally sliding keyboard for easy typing. It features a 2.8" (320x480) touchscreen display, and a 3.15MP camera. It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and offers up Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS support.

While still unconfirmed, it looks like KOODO will be offering up the Optimus Chat for $200 outright, or $50 using their tab.

Those looking for an affordable device for messaging and calls now have yet another option from Virgin Mobile - the LG Rumour Plus. The Rumour Plus has a 2.4" (240x320) touchscreen display, a horizontally sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a 2MP camera. Virgin hasn't included the handset on their website as of yet, but several retailers have put the device on their shelves. For those considering this handset, the price comes in with an affordable price tag of just $150 contract-free.

Public Mobile has a done a great job maintaining their line-up of affordable handsets, and now they've added yet another entry-level handset to their inventory. The ZTE C76 is now available from the new entrant carrier, and features a 2" display and bluetooth connectivity. The C76 is about as basic as handsets get, but at just $65 contract-free, it's an affordable solution for those looking for basic talk and text functionality. KOODO Mobile has officially launched the white version of the BlackBerry Curve 3G. White BlackBerry handsets have typically done very well, so launching this colour variation is a great move by the carrier. All of the features and specifications are the same as the black version, and pricing is also consistent. Virgin Mobile has officially launched the Novatel Ovation MC547 mobile internet stick. The MC547 is capable of maximum download speeds of up to 42 Mbps, though users will typically average slower speeds. Regardless, this new internet stick from Novatel will give you fast data speeds on the go. It is compatible with Windows XP through 7, and Mac OS X 10.6 and higher.

The Novatel Ovation is available now from Virgin Mobile for $59.99 on a 3 year term or using their SuperTab. Those looking to purchase the internet stick contract-free will pay $199.99.

Virgin Mobile has recently added a few of their post-paid devices to their Prepaid line-up, including the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, Curve 3G, and the Samsung Galaxy 550. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G and Curve 3G are each available for $299.99 with a Prepaid activation, while the Galaxy 550 comes in at just $179.99.

WIND Mobile has recently launched a new handset, the Symbian based Nokia C5-04. Bell and Virgin Mobile each launched the HTC Incredible S early last week, and now Sasktel has stepped up to offer the new Android handset to Saskatchewan residents. The Incredible S runs Android 2.2 Froyo, and features a 4" (480x800) touchscreen display. It has an 8MP camera capable of 720p HD video capture, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Powered by a 1GHz processor, the Incredible S offers connectivity options including Wi-Fi, bluetooth and GPS.

The HTC Incredible S is another Android handset many Canadians have been looking forward to, and it has officially been made available. Both Bell and Virgin Mobile have launched the device, which features a 4" (480x800) touchscreen Gorilla Glass display. The Incredible S has an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video capture, along with a front-facing 1.3MP camera. This new HTC handset is powered by a 1GHz processor and 768MB of RAM, and comes with 1.1GB of ROM storage.

The HTC Incredible S is available now from Bell and Virgin Mobile. Bell is offering it up at $99.95 on a 3 year term, or $499.95 contract-free. Virgin Mobile has it available for $99.99 with a 3 year contract, and $499.99 for outright purchases.

We recently let you know that Virgin Mobile was rumoured to be launching the HTC Incredible S, and that Sasktel had confirmed that the high-end Android handset would coming to their network. Now, we have confirmation that Bell and Virgin will be launching the device, with an expected release date of April 4th. The information comes way of leaked screenshots, and though 3-year pricing hasn't been made available yet, we are expecting contract-free pricing to come in around $499.95.

The HTC Incredible S features a 4" (480x800) S-LCD touchscreen display, an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video recording, along with a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Powered by a 1GHz Scorpion processor and 768MB of RAM, the Incredible S has 1.1GB of internal memory, and is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS, and users will be able to get HSPA download speeds up to 14.4Mbps using their cellular data plan. Overall, the HTC Incredible S is shaping up well, and should make a great addition to Sasktel, Virgin, and Bell's line-ups.
