Bell launching Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE on May 3rd

Those looking for a great Android device capable of LTE will soon have another option, via Bell. They have officially added the Galaxy S II HD LTE to their site, stamping it as “coming soon”. Currently pricing information or a specific date isn’t available, but hopefully we’ll hear something soon.

The S II HD LTE is a powerhouse handset, featuring a 4.65” (720 x 1280) Super AMOLED touch screen display and an 8 MP camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video capture. It’s powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM, and it has a secondary front-facing 2 MP camera. Current releases of the S II HD LTE run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, though an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is expected relatively soon. Connectivity options include the obvious LTE/HSPA, and the standard options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Interested? We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more!
