Rogers launching LG Optimus L7 in coming months?

According to recently leaked information, Rogers will be releasing the LG Optimus L7 at some point in the future, likely within the next few months. Very few details are available about the device, but more information should find its way to the public soon enough. Currently, it’s known that the L7 will have a 4.3” display, a 5MP camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, and will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). According to LG’s reveal of the L7 a few weeks back, it’ll be powered by a 1 GHz processor, though some speculation around the internet assumes it’ll be dual-core. Beyond that, there aren’t any other confirmed specifications, but you can expect the obvious connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSPA, and A-GPS.

Additional rumours point to the Optimus L7 being launched within Rogers’ Smartphone Lite category, though it seems unlikely at this point, particularly if it does have a dual-core processor, decent camera, etc. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on additional information as it becomes available, so check back to hear more about this new handset from LG.
