Rogers locations begin receiving LG Optimus 3D units, launching soon for $99.99 on 3 year term, $474.99 outright

We've known for some time that Rogers is preparing to launch the LG Optimus 3D, however a specific launch date has remained secret thus far. Luckily, we've found out that many Rogers retail locations have received stock, indicating a near-future launch. The Optimus 3D should be available very soon, and pricing has been leaked at $99.99 on a 3 year term, or $474.99 contract-free.

The LG Optimus 3D features a 4.3" (480x800) 3D LCD touchscreen display, along with 8GB of internal storage and a dual-core 1GHz processor. It has a dual 5MP camera with LED flash that can record 720p 3D HD video, or 1080p standard HD video. Other features include an HDMI port, Wi-Fi (b/g/n, hotspot), bluetooth 3.0, and GPS connectivity, and it runs on Android 2.2 Froyo at launch. If you're looking to pick up a 3D handset, the Optimus 3D is certainly worth considering, but remember, the HTC Evo 3D is also supposed to launch relatively soon.
