Bell launches HTC Wildfire S for $29.95 on 3 year term, $249.95 outright

We recently let you know that Bell and Virgin Mobile were getting set to launch the HTC Wildfire S, and Bell has gone ahead and done so. The Wildfire S is an entry-level Android handset, and runs OS 2.3 Gingerbread. Featuring a 3.2" (320x480) touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass, the Wildfire S comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash and VGA quality video recording. Its powered by a 600MHz processor and and 512MB of RAM, and offers Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS connectivity.

The HTC Wildfire S is available now from Bell. No word yet on when Virgin Mobile will make the device available, but we should see it launch fairly soon. From Bell, the HTC Wildfire S comes in at $249.95 contract-free, or just $29.95 on a 3 year term.
