The Dell Streak 7's "estimated ship date" has been pushed back several times since it was initially added to Dell's Canadian site in late April, but it looks like it is finally available! The Streak 7 runs Android 2.2 Froyo, and has a 7" (800x480) capacitive touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and comes with 16GB of internal storage memory, and features a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p video recording. The Streak 7 also has a secondary front-facing 1.3MP camera, and supports Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS connectivity.
The Streak 7 is available now from Dell online for $399.99. While the relatively low price tag might seem enticing to some, the older OS version might hurt this tablet. With no clear plans for Honeycomb in the future, the Streak 7 packs in some great specs but risks being left behind.
