Back in February, HTC announced the Flyer, their first android tablet. The Flyer has a 7" (1024x600) touchscreen display, and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch, though it will eventually see Honeycomb. It's powered by a 1.5GHz processor, and will run HTC's latest version of Sense specifically designed for tablets. One of the features that makes the Flyer stand out is the Scribe technology, which aims to repopularize stylus use.

The HTC Flyer was recently added to HTCSense.com's Canadian section, on the device registration page. Hopefully the addition of the device means a near-future launch. With the original announcement stating that the Flyer would be available globally in Q2, we should see this new tablet available sometime this summer.
