Samsung Nexus S coming soon to telus, Bell, Rogers, Mobilicity, and Videotron

A few days ago, telus officially announced the Samsung Nexus S would be available relatively soon, with speculation pointing to a late March or early April release. Soon afterwards, information was made available to the public that confirms that Rogers, Bell, Mobilicity, and Videotron would also be launching the popular Android handset, though launch dates are unavailable thus far.

The Nexus S features Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4" (480x800) touchscreen display, and is powered by a 1GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM. Coming with 16GB of internal storage memory, the Nexus S also features a 5MP camera with LED flash, and bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS connectivity. This newest addition to Google's "Nexus" series also supports NFC (Near field communications), a technology that we'll likely see rolled out to the consumer market this year.

No word yet on an exact release date or price points, but we expect the Nexus S to launch across multiple carriers within a month or so. We'll be sure to keep you informed of any further updates.
