People all over the world have been waiting for next-generation devices to be announced/unveiled, and Samsung is looking to get things started by announcing the Galaxy S II late last week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Galaxy S II (model: GT-I9100) features a 4.27" (800x480) Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display, along with an 8MP camera with 1080p HD video capture, and a front-facing 2MP camera. Coming in at just 8.49mm thick, this upcoming handset from Samsung packs in a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage memory. If you're looking for a feature-rich and high-specification device, it may be worth the wait for the Samsung Galaxy S II! No word yet on pricing, or when the handset will make it's way to Canada, but hopefully we'll see it launch fairly soon!
