With Android 2.3 Gingerbread rolling out to the Nexus One in the coming weeks, many Canadians who own other Android-powered smartphones are left wondering when they'll see upgrades, at least to 2.2 Froyo, for their devices. While not every handset will be getting future updates, the HTC Legend from Virgin Mobile is confirmed to be getting 2.2 Froyo, which is expected to launch in mid-January. No word yet on the Bell version of the HTC Legend, but odds are that the update will be available at the same time.
