telus officially discontinues HTC Hero

We've seen quite a few new Android devices launch in the last few months, so it doesn't come as much of a surprise that telus has officially discontinued the HTC Hero from their product line-up. The handset, which launched along-side telus' HSPA network, has been available for almost 11 months, and certainly helped popularize the Android platform in Canada. If you're still looking to pick one up, some retail stores may still have limited stock, though it's been removed from online and call center ordering.
