WIND Mobile has been around for about 9 months now, and there's been much speculation about the success of the new entrant. Thanks to an official announcement, we now know that they had exceeded 100 000 subscriptions in early July of this year, and since it's been a little over a month since then, odds are that number has increased by at least a couple thousand. Currently available in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, WIND Mobile's goal is to reach 1.5 million customers within 3 years of launching, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds. Constantly improving their network and recently updating their device line-up to include an Android handset, we could see the growth WIND needs to hit their goal just over 2 years from now.
