Sasktel has announced that they will be launching their 3G+ network, a long anticipated piece of news for Saskatchewan residents. Along with the network, they've stated that they will be carrying the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Pearl 9100, Nokia 7230, Samsung Gravity 3, Samsung Gravity Touch, Nokia 6350, and a Novatel MC998D mobile data stick. Possibly the most exciting news, however, is that a Sasktel dealer's website has been updated to include an image of the Samsung Gravity S Vibrant, one of the most feature-rich Android devices available in Canada.

The Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant features a 4" (480x800) super AMOLED touch screen, 5MP camera with 720p HD recording, and 16GB of internal memory. The device runs on Android 2.1 Eclair featuring TouchWiz 3.0, and is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and 512MB of RAM.

Sasktel is set to launch their 3G+ network on Monday, August 16th, and dealers should be prepared to help customers get set-up on that date.
