Virgin Mobile introduces SuperTab, their no fixed-contract system

Virgin Mobile has updated their website to include the SuperTab as a device purchase method for customers who wish to remain free of contracts. It works similar to KOODO Mobile, where the user can choose to put a part of the purchase amount of a device on their tab. Each month, 10% of your bill goes towards your tab, eventually paying off the device. The SuperTab amounts range from $25 to $500, and Virgin is holding a promotion where you'll get an extra 5% if you activate a Bold 9700 or iPhone with a voice and data plan over $65/month. No word yet on whether customers will be able to pay off the tab at any time to get an upgrade, but it's likely that this will be possible.
