Samsung has updated their website to include a page for Canadians to sign up for a release notification e-mail when the Galaxy S launches, which according to the page is set arrive sometime this summer. No official word yet on which carrier(s) will offer this Android handset, but it will definitely make a great addition to Canada's Android options.
The Samsung Galaxy S features a 4" Super AMOLED (480 x 800) touch screen, Android 2.1 with TouchWiz 3.0 and a 5MP camera that can record 720p video at 30fps. It's other specifications are impressive too - a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and Wi-Fi b, g, and n support, and bluetooth 3.0. We'll be sure to fill you in when more information on availability and pricing is released.
