The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a great Android tablet, and is sure to serve as an awesome successor to their original Galaxy Tab. We let you know a few weeks back that it was confirmed to be coming to Canada, with rumours pointing to an August release timeframe, but now have more information to share! The Tab 10.1 is now available for pre-order from electronics retailers like Best Buy and Future Shop, and pricing is listed at the very affordable $499.99 mark. Along with the pre-order availability, the stores have also included an estimated release date of July 22nd, so it looks like the wait will soon be over!
As a recap on the Galaxy Tab 10.1's specifications, it features a 10.1" (800x1280) touchscreen display, and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8MP camera with LED flash, and is capable of recording 720p HD video. It comes with 16GB of storage, and measures in at just 8.6mm thick, making it a truly awesome device for those considering an Android tablet!
