telus launches new Share Plan for tablets for $15/month, allows you to share existing data with any compatible tablet

With the Apple iPad having launched several months ago successfully, and the Samsung Tab coming to Canada soon, telus has introduced a new Share Plan for existing customers who wish to use their tablet devices on telus' network. The plan costs $15/month, and essentially allows users to share their existing smartphone data plan with their tablet, be it an iPad, Tab, etc. For those who only have 500MB - 1GB of usage on their smartphones, you may be better off looking at getting a standalone package, but for those who currently have 1GB+, this could be worth checking out. telus has confirmed that the package will work with any compatible tablet devices, even if they don't offer it, which is great news for those thinking about picking up a Tab.
