Rogers On Demand Mobile application coming soon, bringing FIFA World Cup coverage with it

Rogers announced yesterday that their On Demand Mobile application will soon be launching, and with it will be optional live FIFA World Cup coverage. Subscriptions to Rogers On Demand Mobile will be available to iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android device users, and will cost $5/month providing access to content from partners such as MTV, CBC, and Sportsnet. For a $10 one-time fee, subscribers can gain access to a wide variety of FIFA World Cup content, including live streaming of every game, post-game highlights, etc.

Once made available, the Rogers On Demand Mobile application will be available in Apple App Store, Android Marketplace, and through the Rogers WAP Portal.
